Sanctions Award Not An Interlocutory Award; Appeal Dismissed

In the case of O’Donoghue v. O’Donoghue, the Virginia Court of Appeals, in an unpublished opinion, dismissed wife’s appeal of an award of sanctions against her because the Court of Appeals lacked subject matter jurisdiction over the matter.  The award of sanctions against the wife was not an appealable interlocutory order.
