Failure to File Transcript or Written Statement of Facts Prevents Appeal

In the case of Brown v. Ketchum, the Virginia Court of Appeals, in an unpublished opinion, declined to hear an appeal where the appealing party, the father, failed to file a a transcript or written statement of facts.  Either of the two would have been necessary for the Court to descern what transpired in court during this custody and visitation proceeding.
