Poor Communication After Divorce Results in Custody Change
In the case of Giannaris v. Giannaris, the Mississippi Court of Appeals ruled that the ex-wife’s behavior since the divorce, particularly ex-wife’s failure to cooperate and communicate with ex-husband and his new wife, constituted material change in circumstances warranting modification of the original custody decree so as to transfer primary physical custody of child from ex-wife to ex-husband.
