Supporters of the proposed constitutional amendment banning gay marriage say that the ruling this week from the New Jersey Supreme Court will energize their base and send voters to the polls Nov. 7, reports the Washington Post. The New Jersey court ordered the legislature to adopt a bill giving same-sex couples the same rights as traditional opposite-sex couples.
