Husband’s Extramartial Affairs and Child Born Out of Wedlock Affect Equitable Distribution Award

In the case of Freeman v. Freeman, the Richmond Circuit Court has held that a husband’s affairs which led to the birth of a child born out of wedlock constituted negative nonmonetary contributions to the marriage which the court could take into account in making the case’s equitable distribution award.
