Passive Income from Equitable Distribution Award Did Not Constitute Change of Circumstance to Modify Spousal Support Award

In the published opinion of Barrs v. Barrs, the Virginia Court of Appeals held that the trial court erred in concluding that the wife’s receipt of passive income from the marital award constituted a change in circumstances in a proceeding by husband to reduce or terminate wife’s spousal support.
