Wife Could Sue for Cheap Engagement Ring

In the case of Schauer v. Mandarin Gems of Cal, Inc., the plaintiff, a wife, had standing as a third party beneficiary of the sales contract between her husband the seller of her engagement ring to allege that an engagement ring given to her was not worth the amount paid and to maintain an action against the seller of the ring.
