Single Act of Great Cruelty Sufficient to Grant Divorce

In the case of Kennedy v. Kennedy, the Virginia Court of Appeals ruled that a husband’s single act of physical violence against wife constituted cruelty.  Husband picked up wife and threw her across the bed, injuring her neck, her shoulder, and fracturing her jaw.
