Downward Deviation from Child Support Guidelines Upheld

In the cae of Olson v. Olson, the Virginia Court of Appeals, in an unpublished opinion, ruled that a trial court correctly departed downwards from the child support guidelines where the father, who was the party obligated to pay child support, had entered a separation agreement with mother wherein they agreed he would pay $100.00 a month into a college savings plan for each of the three children.
