“Sexting” Poses Potentially Serious Problems for Teens

I just got finished reading an article on findlaw.com, which discussed the potential negative consequences of “sexting”.  What is “sexting”? “Sexting” is the transmission of suggestive material via text messages.  What problems does this pose for teenagers?  The transmission of nude photos of underage teenagers to one another brings into play child pornography laws and sex offender registration laws.  Parents whose teens own cell phones or digital cameras should certainly discuss the appropriate use of both items with their children.  For more information, here is the full text of the article.
